ABOUT ME

Sometimes the universe can be difficult to explain and understand. That's why we invented mathematics. I've always loved maths because it allows me to interact with the world in ways I had never seen before and explain the phenomena that no one else has.

I've scored highly in various mathematical competitions, including the maths challenge, Maclaurin Olympiad and British Mathematical Olympiads. I received multiple awards for my achievements such as a medal, a distinction in BMO1, and I took part in BMO2, with only the top 100 mathematicians in the UK.

I enjoy computer science and competitive programming as well. I have made multiple AI ranging from negamax algorithms for tic tac toe, to neural networks to play chess. I've taken part in the British Informatics Olympiad, and later this year I will be participating in Google kickstart.

Science has always been another passion of mine, and I have always excelled in the problems which I find so fascinating. Multiple times I have received the gold award on various scientific challenges and Olympiads for example in Physics and Biology. Last year I visited Oxford after placing in the top 20 in the country on the physics challenge, and enjoyed a day of problem solving and touring the colleges.

I'm also an avid chess player, and I've loved the game for many years. The look on your opponent's face when they realise they are doomed cannot be matched. The pattern recognition and neural networks all play a role in chess, and there are more possible chess games than atoms in the universe. The possibilities are endless.
